High demand for hotel rooms

Owing to the vibrant nature of Aberdeen's energy sector, the city welcomes hundreds of international visitors and offshore personnel on a daily basis. This regular turnover of guests places an enormous demand on the region's hotels, which are frequently fully-booked weeks in advance.

All potential delegates, exhibitors and visitors are strongly recommended to book accommodation as soon as possible, even if you're not certain that you will be attending. Almost all of the hotels listed on the Hydro14 Hotel Reservations link will accept cancellations up to 48 hours prior to arrival, free of charge*.

* The Holiday Inn AECC requires a prepaid, non-refundable deposit for the first night. If the room is cancelled less than 48 hours prior to arrival, full payment will be required.

The Hydrographic Society UK has worked with VisitAberdeen to identify and reserve rooms at range of hotels and rates across Aberdeen. These include the two onsite hotels, the Holiday Inn AECC and the Holiday Inn Express AECC.
